Art at Gavin Central
Our art program engages students in creative exploration and helps them grow as visual thinkers and problem solvers. Through drawing, painting, sculpture, and other media, students learn about the elements of art and principles of design while expressing their own ideas. They also study artists and cultures from around the world, making connections between creativity and community. By the end of elementary school, students are empowered to see themselves as creators with the ability to communicate through visual expression.

Music at Gavin Central

Our music program builds a foundation for lifelong appreciation and participation in the arts. Students engage in singing, playing instruments, listening, and movement activities that grow their understanding of rhythm,

melody, harmony, and form. They also explore music from a variety of cultures and traditions. By developing both skills and confidence, students are empowered to enjoy and contribute to music in ways that enrich their lives and their community.

 

 

Physical Education at Gavin Central
Our PE program emphasizes health, wellness, and the joy of movement. Students engage in activities that build coordination, strength, and endurance, while also learning teamwork, sportsmanship, and goal setting. As they grow, students develop habits that promote lifelong fitness and well-being. By the end of elementary school, they are empowered to make healthy choices and to approach physical activity with confidence and enthusiasm.

STEM at Gavin Central
In STEM class, students explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through fun, hands-on activities. They learn to think like scientists and engineers as they build, create, experiment, and solve real-world problems. Whether designing bridges, coding robots, or testing simple machines, students use creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking to discover how things work and make their ideas come to life.
